This Privacy Policy explains how Push Button Inc. ("Push Button," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit pushbuttonrecommend.com or use the services we offer through it. By using the site, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- Information you give us directly — your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing information, and anything you write to us in messages, forms, or calls. If you book a call we also receive the time you select and any notes you add. If you activate the service we receive your payment details through Stripe (we don't see or store your full card number ourselves).
- Information collected automatically — when you visit the site, your browser sends standard request data (IP address, browser type and version, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps). We use server-side hosting metrics and may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
2. How we use the information
- To build, host, and operate the AI-ready recommend site we provide to your business.
- To respond to you when you contact us or book a call.
- To process your activation payment and recurring subscription.
- To send you weekly and monthly reports about your site's performance.
- To improve our product and the way it serves local businesses.
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
3. Service providers we use
We rely on a small set of third parties to deliver the service. Each of them processes only the information necessary to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy that governs its handling of your data:
- Stripe — processes payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection; we never see the full number. Stripe also surfaces a client_reference_id that we use to tie your payment back to your business.
- YouCanBookMe — runs the scheduling widget on /book. When you select a time, YouCanBookMe receives the booking details and notifies us.
- Vercel — hosts the website and the small serverless function that receives Stripe webhook events.
- Transactional email provider — when we send you a sale receipt, a report, or a reply, we use a transactional email service (currently configured via Resend) to deliver it.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our own pages use a small number of first-party cookies and storage entries (for example, to remember a UTM source so it travels through to your Stripe checkout). Third-party services we embed — notably Stripe Checkout and the YouCanBookMe widget — set their own cookies on their own domains as required for their functionality. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time, though some parts of the site (the booking widget, the checkout) may not work without them.
5. Information your business site contains
The AI-ready site we build for your business is composed of information that is already publicly available — primarily your public Google reviews and basic business details. We do not invent reviews, ratings, or quotes. Once you activate the service the site is operated on your behalf and you have full access through your portal. If you want the site taken down at any point, email us and we will do so promptly.
6. How long we keep data
We keep the information we collect only as long as we need it to deliver the service, meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. You can ask us to delete your account information at any time.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to the legal record-keeping noted above.
- Ask us to stop sending you marketing emails (every email has an unsubscribe link).
- Opt out of analytics tracking by using browser-level "Do Not Track" or content blockers.
Depending on where you live (California, EU, UK, and several other jurisdictions), you may have additional rights under local law. To exercise any of these rights, email gus@pushbuttonrecommend.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, email us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard precautions to protect your information, including TLS in transit and encrypted storage at rest where the underlying service supports it (Vercel, Stripe, and our email provider all do). No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top. If the change is material we will notify activated customers by email at the address we have on file.
11. How to contact us
